Care and use guide for printed products.

Some of our products feature the new international symbols for care and laundering. To help alleviate any confusion or misunderstandings, the interpretations are as follows:

Although the labels indicate no bleach, we have successfully, and without problems, bleached some of our own products (except Windshirts and Premium Totes). However, due to the degradation of fabric, and weakening of the fiber structure over time, we have to urge caution when using bleach on our products. We suggest using it sparingly and only for cosmetic reasons when absolutely necessary.

All of our fabric products may be laundered with the exception of the Premium Totes. Although the factory feels it is safe to wash in cold water, we have had some reports of minor bleeding from the cotton canvas and handles. While it may be possible to wash without incident, we recommend spot cleaning wherever possible to avoid problems.

As with all sublimated ceramics, cleaning should be done with a soft cloth and a non-abrasive cleaner if necessary. Exposure to direct sunlight should be avoided to protect the finish and prolong the beauty and vibrancy of the image.

Oak products from Lavivrus have been coated with several layers of catalyzed lacquer for protection and to enhance the natural beauty of the wood. Should cleaning be necessary, Orange Oil or a good furniture polish is recommended.
